OIL SEAL

To retain oil inside housings and prevent leaks, a u-design type labyrinth seal can be used. These seals , which require a modified housing, consist of two parts: a stationary u-shaped plate that is bolted to the housing and a steel labyrinth ring that is mounted on the shaft. Two hollow, silicone rubber cords inserted between the loose fitting labyrinth and shaft. A fully split design oil seal can also be manufactured.
